The Epic Ups And Downs Of Original Durrrr Challenger Patrik Antonius

While displaced American online players like Tom Dwan and his second Durrrr Challenge opponent Daniel Cates are relegated to live action, former foes like Patrik Antonius are going on rampant nosebleed runs posting huge highs and devastating lows every other day. If you haven’t been following Antonius since he dropped off the Durrrr Challenge radar all the way back in August of 2010, then you might be surprised to hear how active the Finnish pro has actually been on Full Tilt Poker…Everywhere but at the Challenge tables, that is. Durrrr And Friends At The 2011 WSOP

Dwan’s WSOP plans can be hard to call since his six WSOP cashes have come in as many different events. In 2009, Dwan launched the Durrrr Challenge, an open million dollar challenge to the world’s leading heads-up players (excluding his good friend Phil Galfond). For almost two years, we’ve brought you the latest and most comprehensive news on Tom Dwan’s online exploits, including his most recent Durrrr Challenge session against Daniel “jungleman12” Cates on March 30, but on April 15 something happened that could change not only this site but online poker forever. On April 15, the United States Department of Justice seized the domains for Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars, Absolute Poker and UB.com. That day has come to be known as Black Friday. While… Read More »
